Ms. Kumar joins Cure from Johnson & Johnson where she spent nearly 20 years in senior leadership positions, most recently serving as Global Head of the Office of Innovation, Global Health and Scientific Engagement. During her tenure, she led the launch of the company’s Innovation Centers, JLABS and Global Public Health initiatives, as well as the CoLaboratory at the World Economic Forum at Davos and the award winning COVID-19 educational broadcast program, “The Road to a Vaccine.”
R. Nolan Townsend has served as LEXEO Therapeutics Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors since January 2020. Mr. Townsend serves on the New York City Economic Development Corporation’s Life Sciences Advisory Council and as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Life Science Cares New York.
Elizabeth Fassberg is the executive director of Life Science Cares New York. She is a passionate public health advocate and runs the New York City affiliate of Life Science Cares, she is connecting Life Science Companies to make a difference in the community by making impactful grants to nonprofits that are implementing research-driven solutions in the areas of survival, education and economic sustainability.
