  • The Cure Symposia remains virtual with special curated in-person events to increase flexibility of engagement and participation

(New York, NY, Aug. 25, 2021)—The Cure, a multi-disciplinary healthcare innovation campus, will bring together stakeholders of healthcare and life science for its fall session of the Cure Symposia with weekly discussions focused on healthcare, management, innovation, policy, and other relevant subjects. The events will be held virtually, with selected in-person discussions and networking events at 345 Park Avenue South in midtown Manhattan.

Each season the Cure Symposia focuses on topics critical to entrepreneurs, healthcare leaders, physicians, investigators, students, patients and policy makers. The fall discussions, which kick off in September and run through December 2021, will be held on Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. EST.

“The Cure at 345 Park Avenue South has been designed to enable the development of transformative therapeutics and novel approaches for better patient care,” said James E. Flynn, Managing Partner Deerfield. “The Cure Symposia is an important part of the educational programming that contributes to Cure’s unique ecosystem.”

The Cure innovation campus brings together the innovators from academia, government, life science, technology and the not-for-profit sectors to tackle unmet needs in healthcare. Stakeholders of the Cure will have unparalleled access to educational programming helping them learn, connect, and grow — in pursuit of a better tomorrow.

“In order to deliver innovation that creates meaningful gains in human health, the Cure innovation campus must continuously foster talent development through its educational programs,” said Karen Heidelberger, Deerfield Partner and Chief Partnership and Communications Officer.
